The park is home to zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and predators such as lions and leopards, creating incredible photography opportunities.

After an early breakfast, depart from Tarangire and drive toward the scenic Lake Manyara National Park. The park’s dramatic setting, nestled along the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, is home to diverse wildlife and lush vegetation. As you explore, you’ll encounter playful baboons in the forests, hippos wallowing in the lake, and flocks of flamingos painting the shoreline pink.

In the afternoon, continue your game drive in search of the famous tree-climbing lions and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding landscapes. Later, head to your charming lodge in Karatu for relaxation and a delicious dinner.

Wake up before sunrise for an extraordinary cultural adventure with the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes. Accompanied by local guides, join them on an authentic early morning hunting expedition, observing their remarkable tracking skills, bow-and-arrow techniques, and deep connection with nature. This immersive experience offers a rare glimpse into a way of life that has remained unchanged for centuries, as the Hadzabe share their stories, traditions, and survival wisdom passed down through generations.

After bidding farewell to the Hadzabe community, embark on a scenic drive through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, where rolling green hills give way to the endless golden plains of the Serengeti National Park. Along the route, enjoy wildlife sightings and breathtaking views as you make your way to your tented camp within the park. As the sun sets, relax by the campfire under the starlit African sky, surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

Osupuko Tented Camp (Inside the Park)

Spend the entire day exploring the legendary Serengeti National Park, home to one of the most diverse wildlife populations on the planet. The morning game drive begins as the sun rises over the savannah — a magical time when predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are most active in their hunt. The cool air carries the sounds of the wild, and every turn of the road offers a new encounter, from grazing antelopes to playful zebras and towering giraffes.

In the afternoon, continue your adventure across the vast plains dotted with acacia trees and golden grasslands. Depending on the season, you might witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the heart of the park before returning to camp at sunset, where the distant roars of lions and calls of nocturnal animals create a true Serengeti atmosphere.

Continue descending into the highlands and arrive in Karatu, where you’ll visit a local coffee plantation. Learn about the cultivation and processing of coffee while interacting with the farmers and enjoying the lush surroundings. Afterward, settle in at your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
